A Women's Funding Network Initiative

When I first got engaged in the community art realm, hosting events and teaching classes in the arts, I thought that I had given up my feminist badge of honor. But instead, as I’ve developed this business, I’ve realized that to take work that has traditionally been in the feminine sphere – including creativity, community building, and hospitality – and to turn that into a profitable human resource-based business that takes care of its employees and takes care of its patrons in a warm, gentle way, is one of the most feminist things that I could be doing.
